Sell My prom Dress was started by Jessica in July of 2007. After I purchased the site I asked Jessica to tell me about starting Sell My Prom Dress this is what she had to say;
"Why I opened the site: Girls everywhere attend prom, formal dances and many formal events each year, and no one would ever be caught wearing the same dress twice! What's a girl to do with all those almost brand new dresses in her closet? That's why I came up with Sell My Prom Dress. Sell My Prom Dress is the perfect way to earn some money for the next formal event and clean out your closet. I also thought that with the rising cost of new dresses, everyone could use a break on the price of a prom dress. Shopping here is the perfect way for girls to get a fabulous deal on designer gowns that are barely used.
Why I sold the site: Sell My Prom Dress was a runaway success. Everyone wanted to know how they could buy and sell dresses and soon I was a stay at home mom who was too busy to keep up with my kids and Sell My Prom Dress. I decided to sell the site so it could grow and give the buyers and sellers the perfect place to shop and sell. With the sale of the site, Sell My Prom Dress has added more features and made it easier for you to buy and sell."
